If you haven't herd of Mickey Avalon by now with his hit 'Jane Fonda', that's probably one of his worst songs on his abum but is catchy and I can see why it was chosen by the label to be promoted, he had a heroin addiction since age sixteen and below will be two parts of an interview he did along with a few other songs I found on you tube.  He went from being a drug dealer with his mother who eventually fired him because of his heroine addiction, to becoming a prostitute to support his hobbit  but have been clean for years and thankful for being alive with a tattoo on his chest entitled, 'thank you', and one on his pawn that say's sorry'.

In my opinion all the power to him and like all comedians, there jokes and don't make people of color look bad, he's a genius and the only people who think it makes anyone look bad, they have to realize that if he were, which I don't think he is, it would only make him look bad, not the entirety of any color.  All the power to him and his deserved success, he might take risks and piss some people off but me as a person of white skin thinks nothing less of black people by watching his show, it's nothing worse then Denis Leary or Conan poking fun at there Irish roots or other comedians relating to there wife or city they live in, comedy is comedy and not meant to be take seriously and out of a lot of people in the entertainment industry I find him to be one of the most normal and true to himself comedians out today... (simple comment)

Now http://www.youtube.com is notorious for shutting down videos by companies like Viacom whining, just thinking that Blind Melons first record contract was a measly 500,000 dollars, Nirvana comes to mind.  I don't believe that it is in any way a crime to watch video's by the band since almost everyone in Canada had at least one album after they wemt triple platinum.  I posted all these links not so that people could steal but to bring back some memories and like always Shannon Hoon's energetic live performance and one of a kind voice, may he rest in peace.  If a link goes dead you can always let me know by emailing me at icis@icisnizz.com

One of my favorite, 'commercial', rock groups, 'Three Days Grace', created in my opinion, one of the best songs ever made called, 'The Pain', about the lead singer's battle with the popular drug, oxycotten, which is basically heroin in pill form.  On there 22 month tour he got heavily into the drug and it eventually got to the point where he couldn't perform without it.  The trailer explaining the songs roots is here and the full video, that has amazing cinematography can be seen here (videos)

Cali's, underground breakthrough hip-hop group, 'The Shape Shifters', star in, 'Who Got Presents?', off the album, 'Adopted by Aliens'.  After the release of the album they got a letter from George Lucas himself, the creator of movies such as, 'Star Wars', ''The Taken', 'E.T'...do I have to even go on.  They framed the letter and without a lawsuit he asked only that they stopped using, 'Star wars Images' .  Maybe he liked there music, maybe he had a soft spot in his heat for underground hip-hop, maybe it was because he has so much money that he could buy islands as a hobby, anyways, here's the song and video...any less, those bottles where really broken over there heads  (video)
